Giving Thanks: Small Businesses That Made a Big Impact on My Journey
As we celebrate Thanksgiving and turn our attention to supporting small businesses this Saturday, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible small business owners who have helped me along my journey. These entrepreneurs didn’t just provide a service—they became partners in my success, and their creativity and expertise made a world of difference.
1. Marcy with Chippy Bits
Marcy brings joy to the world with her vibrant, colorful pottery, but her talents don’t stop there. When my logo hit a creative roadblock with the original designer, Marcy stepped in with her graphic design skills and brought my vision to life. Her ability to mix artistry with problem-solving was exactly what I needed.
2. Susie with SD Creative Studio
Web design can feel overwhelming, but Susie is making it a breeze. She’s transforming my website into something not just functional but beautiful—a space I can be proud to showcase. Susie’s knack for understanding her clients’ vision and turning it into something tangible has been a true gift.
3. AERIFY
For years, AERIFY has been trusted IT partners of my former employer, and Aaron came to the rescue when created a mess with my email. Needless to say, I owe Aaron big for his help!
4. Kirra with Hattie’s Coffee House
Kirra is more than a talented coffee shop owner—she’s been an inspiration. As my guinea pig for refining my consulting process, she generously allowed me to work alongside her. PS – You will typically find me here 1-2x/week working.
Why Shopping Small Matters
Each of these incredible small businesses embodies what makes shopping small so powerful. When you choose to support local entrepreneurs, you’re investing in people who pour their hearts into their work, turning challenges into opportunities and delivering personalized, thoughtful services you just can’t find elsewhere.
